The Saint-Henri Jazz Society (SJSH) was created to keep live jazz alive in the Saint-Henri neighbourhood.
Because we believe jazz music can build bridges amongst musicians, make neighbours come together and connect the past with the present.

Why Saint-Henri?
Saint-Henri is the historical heart of jazz in Montreal.
As musicians, we are standing on the shoulders of giants, and our name serves as a humble recognition.
As much as we enjoy playing in the streets of Saint-Henri, we are proud to offer musicians a roof under which they can jam, perform and be heard.
Our quarters
We believe jazz should live outside the walls of classrooms and fancy clubs.
